We collected some Green Infrastructure resources for public agency staff and private contractors and consultants. Many of these resources were explored in more depth at our 2013 GI Forums in the spring of 2013 (mostly forums 2 and 3).

U.S. EPA National Stormwater Calculator (2013)
This is “a desktop application that estimates the annual amount of rainwater and frequency of runoff from a specific site anywhere in the United States . . . Estimates are based on local soil conditions, land cover, and historic rainfall records.” Much of this data (e.g., soil type, soil drainage, topography, annual rainfall, etc.) is available in layers within the tool itself.
Low Impact Development controls, such as pervious pavement, disconnects, or rain gardens, can then be added in to calculate the annual runoff.
Extensive information is available to assist users, such as site developers, landscape architects, urban planners, and homeowners.
