celebrate

Thank you, guests and all supporters!

Suds on the River is HRWC’s annual fundraising event where we raise a glass to celebrate our home river, the Huron. This year, Suds was held on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Guests gathered for an evening under the stars with local gourmet food and craft brews, live music, and great friends. Funds raised support our many programs that protect and restore the river.

All are invited to this event. To get announcements for Suds on the River 2024, please sign up to our E-news:

Think that’s a fish in this picture? It’s not! Get a Reveler or Guardian ticket to attend the pre-party event to find out why.

River Revelers and Guardians – Endangered mussels need your help!

River Reveler and Guardian ticket holders provide vital additional Suds funds for HRWC’s innovative programs. This year, Revelers and Guardians will be treated to a peek into the curious life of endangered mussels in the river, and HRWC’s unique role in this new monitoring program. Mussels filter bacteria and pollutants from the water and are an important habitat quality indicator. We’ll also share interesting adaptations like their unique ability to lure fish.

Celebrate HRWC’s initial success in growing a community of mussel experts across the state, presented by HRWC staff and special guests!

This pre-Suds event is available with the purchase of a Reveler or Guardian ticket. Please plan to arrive at 5pm. Tickets available here.
