Single Fly Fishing Tournament @ Schultz Outfiitters

Single Fly for a Single Cause! At our annual Huron River Single Fly Fishing Tournament pick your best fly and fish it till you lose it. All proceeds benefit the Huron River Watershed Council’s water quality and river restoration programs. Prizes include fly rods, reels, gear, gift certificates and more.

10am • Check in at Schultz Outfitters, 4 E Cross St, Ypsilanti, MI 48198, then head out to fish a single fly at your favorite spots throughout the watershed.
5pm • Back to Schultz Outfitters for prizes, food, beer and telling stories about the big one that got away.

Tickets:
$50 • Tournament only
$80 • Tournament plus 12-month Huron River Watershed Council membership

Registration for the tournament is limited and ends on July 13, 2018.

Come have some fun along the Huron River in Ypsilanti!  Free family-friendly exhibits and activities at Riverside Park (north end) and discount paddle trips from Frog Island Park to Ford Lake (equipment and transportation provided). There will be kids games and crafts, cider and donuts, live river raptors, a nature walk and talk, and more hands-on activities. Learn about community efforts to restore and feature the river in Ypsilanti through RiverUp! and the Huron River Water Trail initiative. This event is hosted by the City of Ypsilanti Parks & Recreation Commission.
