Welcome to another update to HRWC’s Change Makers.
Change Makers are residents who have chosen to become a voice for the Huron River and its watershed by becoming involved in their local governments to encourage watershed-friendly land use planning and practices.
- The cities of Wixom and Dexter, and Northfield, Hamburg, and Ypsilanti townships all still have opportunities open to get involved in their master planning revision process.
- New Boot Camps are coming in January! This time, we will be at Washtenaw Community College, January 16, and Wixom City Hall on Tuesday, January 29, both at 6pm. Tell your friends and colleagues, and share this announcement:
- HRWC is looking to hold some “advanced training sessions” for Change Makers in 2019. Topics could include “How to Review your Master Plan” and “How to Review your Zoning Ordinance”. Please email Jason or Kris with your ideas and suggestions
