2011 Watershed Community Survey Report and Appendices

This report summarizes the findings of a 2011 study of public attitudes about the quality of local water resources and stormwater impacts in Washtenaw and Livingston counties. Our intent was two-fold. First we wanted to understand what residents in the watershed think about issues related to nonpoint source runoff pollution and what they might be willing to do in their everyday lives to address it. As part of this, we wanted to compare to past results to see how these attitudes have changed. Second we hoped to measure whether the regular public education activities of HRWC and the participating communities is reaching and motivating residents to help.
