HRWC is pleased to be a partner of the Michigan Clean Water Corps, which leads Michigan’s premier volunteer lake monitoring program, the Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (the CLMP). Starting in January 2021, registration will open on the MiCorps website for volunteers to enroll themselves into this program.
Through CLMP, lake residents can monitor their lakes for a variety of parameters:
- Secchi Disk Transparency
- Chlorophyll-a
- Total Phosphorus
- Dissolved Oxygen and Temperature
- Exotic Plants
- Full Plant Mapping
- Score the Shore (lake habitat assessment)
