The Huron River Watershed Council (HRWC) is seeking proposals to complete the first phases of the design and supporting analysis for the removal of Peninsular Paper Dam in Ypsilanti, Michigan. HRWC and the City of Ypsilanti are administering this project and restoration planning for the dam impoundment. 

Qualified teams with experience in dam removal design are encouraged to submit a proposal.

  • Proposal deadline extended! Proposals are now due December 11, 2020 by 3:00 PM EST.
  • A pre-bid informational meeting will be held November 12, 2020.
  • To receive a meeting invite for the pre-bid informational meeting, please contact Daniel Brown at dbrown@hrwc.org.
  • Our proposal review will be completed by the end of December. We anticipate execution of a contract in January of 2021.
