Do rain gardens, rain barrels and native plants really help urban streams?

Millers Creek Rainwater Project community rain garden at the intersection of Prairie and Briarcliff streets in Ann Arbor.

Join us to find out what we learned from our 3-year effort to slow the flow of stormwater going into Millers Creek through neighborhood storm drains. HRWC Watershed Ecologist Paul Steen will present project findings at the November Board Meeting of the Orchard Hills Maplewood Homeowners Association. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
