Art meets environment at the Ann Arbor Film Festival — stunning video on water makes the festival line-up!

HRWC is a community partner of the 49th Ann Arbor Film Festival for Psychohydrography, Sunday, March 27, 1:30pm, Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor which features an analysis of the flow of water from mountain to aqueduct, city to sea.

The video by Peter Bo Rappmund, recorded on HD video and constructed entirely from single frame photography, was shot at and around the Eastern Sierra Nevada, Owens Valley, the Los Angeles Aqueduct, the Los Angeles River and at the Pacific Ocean. The program also includes several short, beautiful 16mm films by Rose Lowder.
