DISCOVER THE CREEKS OF THE WATERSHED
With the aim of inspiring you to enjoy and protect the Huron River, the 2023 printed wall calendar celebrates the 22 major creeksheds that flow into our home river. All contribute to the quality of life and the quality of the river’s water, providing habitat for a wide range of plants and animals in their streams, lakes, and wetlands.
Each month includes a profile of a creek in our watershed, highlighting its unique features, characteristics, and stories. Learn more about your creekshed’s history, health and environmental successes and challenges with HRWC’s Info Stream.
As always, the calendar features stunning photography, stormwater pollution prevention tips and local clean water resources. It is our hope that you will take part in creating a healthier river and watersheds for the future.
