Get yours today.

The communities of the Huron River watershed have come together to produce another spectacular calendar that features stunning Huron River photography, stormwater pollution prevention tips and local resources to inspire you to enjoy and protect our beloved river.

This version highlights the wildlife of the watershed. Our hope is that you turn inspiration into action. That you do something every day to protect clean water or volunteer with HRWC and the other community partners who support our mission.

Your calendar is conveniently marked with the dates of HRWC’s Winter Stonefly Search, Spring and Fall River Roundups and the kick-off training for our seasonal Chemistry and Flow Monitoring program. While you can join us to collect critical data on the health of the river, you can also volunteer directly with the communities involved in the calendar program – planting and maintaining rain gardens, taking care of natural areas or doing river cleanups.Cover, Huron River Watershed 2020 Community Calendar

THANK YOU… to everyone who contributed to this calendar.

This project wouldn’t be possible without the support of sponsors and volunteers. Since 2003, the community partners listed above have produced and distributed more than 500,000 biannual water pollution prevention calendars to Huron River watershed residents. These communities, organizations and individuals are committed to protecting water quality and securing our watershed as a permanent source of clean drinking water, natural beauty, and diverse recreational opportunities. We’re grateful to each and every one of them. In creating this calendar, we made it a priority to contain costs and engage local vendors and photographers.

Calendar Photographers: Marc Akemann, Daniel Brown, Tom Egel, Graham Battersby, John Lloyd and Keith Matz. Calendar Production: Christianson Design, Fitzgerald Communications and ULitho.

A big thank you to all the individuals and businesses who helped make our 2020 calendar a reality!
