Every year HRWC sponsors an environmental awareness event - Suds on the River - for the entir watershed community. We bring together the microbreweries of the Huron River Watershed to say that the reason that these award winning microbrews are so good is the Huron River water!

Locally-brewed beers and brew masters from Arbor Brewing, Grizzly Peak and Jolly Pumpkin have the opportunity to visit with friends who care about water and guests have the chance to learn more about great local microbrews of the watershed.

Last year's Suds on the River featured food from many of Ann Arbor's favorite establishments: Anthony's Gourmet Pizza, Bennigan's, Back Alley Gourmet, By the Pound, Cafe Zola, Charlie's Mediterranean Cuisine, Clancy's Fancy, Jerusalem Garden, No Thai!, Pacific Rim, People's Food Co-op, The Original Cottage Inn, Tios, Tuptim Thai Cuisine, Whole Foods Market, and Zanzibar.

GREAT LAKES MYTH SOCIETY, a Michigan-based northern rock collective appeared at last year's SUDS, and they had so much fun they are coming back this year!
