Join us Thursday Sept 17, 2009 at 6 p.m. to raise your glass to the Huron River!
Every year HRWC sponsors an environmental awareness event - Suds on the River - for the entire watershed community. We bring together the microbreweries of the Huron River Watershed to say that the reason that these award winning microbrews are so good is the Huron River water! For tickets and information call Margaret Smith 734/769-5123 x19 or msmith@hrwc.org.
Learn about the great locally brewed watershed beers from the brew masters of ARBOR BREWING, GRIZZLY PEAK, JOLLY PUMPKIN ARTISAN ALES, & WOLVERINE BEER (click on logos to be directed to their websites).
Joining the microbreweries are some of the watershed’s most popular restaurants including Anthony's Gourmet Pizza, Bennigan's, Cafe Habana, Jerusalem Garden, Morgan & York, No Thai!, Pacific Rim, Prickly Pear, People's Food Co-op, Tios, Tuptim Thai Cuisine, Whole Foods Market, and Zanzibar.
GREAT LAKES MYTH SOCIETY, a Michigan-based northern rock collective will entertain us, and the folks from COLTON BAY and Ann Arbor Trout Unlimited will be giving fly fishing lessons.
