It was an enthusiastic crowd, and at least one admitted “through paddler” who listened to Elizabeth Riggs, HRWC Watershed Planner talk about the new Huron River Water Trail initiative on a rainy Thursday evening in May. Elizabeth shared the details of the water trail planning efforts to date and how it will improve paddling conditions and create recreational opportunities on the river, link communities along it and help their local economies.
