"We think we need a lot of things in life, |
Starting July 7, Liz Elling will swim the length of the Huron River this summer, including stops in several communities along the way. She will finish the 100-mile swim on July 21 at Lake Erie. What inspires this 60 year-old dynamo to take on such feats? It's simple, really. She wants to raise awareness for our lakes, rivers and streams.
